We went to Staples Minnesota and toured a Factory called Stern's Manufacturing. I got to learn how they would mix products to make their own rubber compound. Then they would take it from there and put it in different machines to make different rubber products. You can check out their website at www.sternmfg.com

Well with Christmas coming near we have been very busy. My wife and I tried Black Friday at 3:30 am at Target for the first and may I say last time. I could not believe how many people were in line to save some money. I would say that is a good sign the economy is starting to come back around. I think the last thing I heard on the news was consumer was up 11% on Black Friday over last year’s Black Friday. It takes a true shopper to be that dedicated to want to put up with the crowd and the lines. Next year I will enjoy my bed.

Here at FTM Designs we have been busy working on some new websites in the Brainerd, Minnesota area. Now that our new website has been up for a few weeks, we have gotten many positive feedbacks from all over the area. Is it just me or does it seem like summer goes by faster ever year? Oh well, when we are not working we try to get out to Crosslake on the boat for the weekends. I am happy to say that we have been out in the boat 3 times this year. Speaking of Crosslake we just picked up a new client that is from Crosslake.
